Product Description

  1. Better control of bar tolerances, as each line is equipped with a high-speed finishing mill with much higher accuracy than a conventional mill. When using the two-wire to four-wire slitting process, the yield is determined by the smallest size of the bar, which results in the bar being larger on average than required. For all products sold according to the weight of the business, better rolling dimensional tolerances will lead to a considerable improvement in the yield.

  2. Because the high-speed steel loading system does not need to use the cutting guide and torsion guide, the guide consumption is lower.

  3. Because each billet has only one short ruler, and the number of multi-wire cutting short ruler is consistent with the number of cutting lines, fewer short ruler are used in the high-speed steel loading system.

  4. Since only one piece of steel is added to each slot, the yield is higher. Multiple pieces of steel in one slot can cause stacking and misalignment of rolled pieces, resulting in subsequent shear, technical and bundling difficulties.



The double high drum arrangement includes: 

  • Two groups of drum, the two groups of drum parallel mounted on the beam above the cold bed, the distance between the two groups of drum center line is the first preset value,

  • a group of drum comprises two drum body, drum gear box, drum support structure and transmission motor, the transmission motor and the drum gear box are fixed on the drum support mechanism. 

  • The drive motor controls the rotation of the rotating drum body through the rotating drum gear box;

  • The two rotating drum bodies are symmetrically arranged, the outer side of the rotating drum body is arranged with a slide plate, the slide plate is fixed connected with the rotating drum support structure, the slide plate is positioned on the cold bed of the even number of moving teeth rack, the rotating drum body is installed with a throwing steel sensor; It has the advantages of simple structure, good heat dissipation and easy maintenance.

Cooling Bed Type

The cooling bed is one of the indispensable auxiliary equipment for small and medium-sized bar workshops. Its function is to cut the bar of multiple feet length by flying shears after rolling mill, transport and unload it to the cold bed rack for cooling, so that its temperature is reduced from 900℃ to 100 ~ 300℃, and then collected by the cold bed feeding device and sent to the output roller, and then sent to the output roller to the cold shear cut into a size of finished products. The design quality and installation accuracy of the cold bed directly determine the final quality of the product.


Cooling Bed Charging System:

  1. Twin-Channel Bar Receiving Mechanism:

    operated either by Hydraulic or by Electro-Mechanical Drive through DC Motors. The Flappers are made from SG Iron Material, giving excellent wear resistance and long life.

  2. 2/4-Channel Bar Kick-off Mechanism (Pneumatic):

    This type of Bar Handling system is used for Rolling Mills with 1/2 Strand Billet Rolling. its common used in steel plant.
  3. 2/4-Channel Bar Kick-off Mechanism (Closed type):

    This type of Bar Handling system is used for Rolling Mills with 2 Strand Billet Rolling. for the high speed rolling as in 30m/s.
  4. Braking Slide(Pneumatic) / Hydraulic Apron Type:
    This type of Bar Receiving mechanism is widely used for Merchant Mills producing both Sections and TMT Bar as well as Light Section Mill.
  5. Rotary Drum Type:
    This type of mechanism is using for the high speed rolling as in 45m/s.



Cooling Bed Cooling System:
  1. Rake Type Automatic Cooling Bed (Walking Beam):
    Automatic rake type cooling beds are highly automated, ensuring transfer of material by one pitch for every rake movement.
  2. Chain Transfer Cooling Bed:
    Chain type cooling beds are highly automated, ensuring transfer of material by shifting certain distance. Used for Heavy Sections such as Big Angles, Channel, and I Beams.
  3. Claw Type Cooling Bed:
    Claw type cooling beds are highly automated, ensuring transfer of material by shifting certain distance, by the pinion and cam shaft. Used for Heavy Sections such as Big Angles, Channel, and I Beams.
