Limestone / lime gypsum wet flue gas desulfurization process is the most mature and widely used flue gas desulfurization technology. About 90% of power plantflue gas desulfurization devices in China adopt thisprocess. According to the different desulfurizer used, it can be divided into limestone gypsum method and limegypsum method. Limestone and lime are used as desulfurizer respectively. As the lime preparation systemis simpler than the limestone preparation system in
process, small in floor area, small in initial investment and high in process reliability, lime is used as absorbent in the desulfurization unit of the project.
