It has broken through the limitation of the fixed roller gap in the traditional segment. Through real-time detection, intelligent decision-making and dynamic execution, the shape of the roller gap is actively adjusted during the solidification process of the cast billet to cope with solidification shrinkage, thermal deformation and mechanical load, thereby significantly improving the internal quality of the cast billet, reducing cracks and segregation, and increasing the drawing speed limit.

Core Functions and Objectives:
Control the solidification process : Ensure that the billet solidifies according to the ideal temperature gradient to form a good structure (such as equiaxed crystal ratio), and reduce internal cracking, central porosity and segregation.
Control the surface temperature : Avoid excessively high surface temp (which inc the risk of bulging and steel leakage) or too low surface temp (which causes surface cracks and corner cracks), especially to keep the temp at the straightening point above the brittle temp range of the steel grade.
Increase casting speed: By optimizing cooling, the speed can be increased while ensuring quality, thereby enhancing output.
